They put out a lot of heat. Because of that, you’ve got to make sure your ventilation and cooling fans are actually clean and doing their job. If the airflow is blocked, the heat builds up and can stress your sockets or wear out the quartz faster than it should. Keep it breezy, and the lamps will stay happy.
